Publication note: This product-ready draft must receive counsel review and jurisdiction-specific contact details before public launch.
1. Information we collect
Depending on the features enabled in your release and region, we collect information you provide, such as phone number or email, profile settings, language, support requests and replies, and shipping and carrier-tracking details for physical orders. Support records include the request topic, priority, status history, and the profile used to contact us. We may also collect app and device information, viewing progress, saves, protected-download records, reward activity, comments, reactions, reports, profile blocks, approximate region, crash diagnostics, and interactions with enabled FIVO features.
2. Payments
Digital purchases are processed by Apple or Google. Physical merchandise payments are processed by our commerce provider. FIVO receives transaction identifiers, product details, status, and limited billing metadata; we do not store complete payment-card numbers.
3. How we use information
We use information to operate accounts, deliver and personalize stories, synchronize progress, verify purchases, fulfill orders, prevent fraud and abuse, review reported community activity, enforce safety rules, improve reliability, provide support, measure aggregate performance, and meet legal obligations.
4. Sharing
We share only what is necessary with service providers supporting enabled functions such as hosting, video delivery, messaging, payments, order fulfillment, fraud prevention, and customer support. An analytics provider is used only after it is configured, disclosed, and any required consent is obtained. We may disclose information when required by law or to protect users and the service.
5. Children and profiles
Kids profiles restrict content and interactive experiences. FIVO is not intended to collect personal information from children without the authorization required in the user’s jurisdiction. Parents and guardians should manage profiles and contact support for deletion requests.
6. Retention and security
We retain information for the period required to provide the service, maintain auditable entitlement and transaction records, resolve disputes and support requests, investigate safety reports, and satisfy legal duties. Profile deletion removes that profile's personal social activity, reports, and block relationships. It detaches the deleted profile from an account support conversation so the account holder can still receive a reply. Account deletion removes support conversations, subject to records we must retain by law. We use access controls, encryption in transit, signed tokens, and monitoring, but no system can guarantee absolute security.
7. Your choices
Depending on location, you may request access, correction, deletion, portability, or restriction. You can delete your account directly in FIVO under My FIVO → Settings and Privacy → Delete FIVO account, or create a portable JSON copy under Export my FIVO data. The export excludes authentication secrets, device and push tokens, payment identifiers, store receipt identifiers, idempotency keys, and operator-only safety metadata. You can also adjust notifications, profile language, autoplay, and content controls in the app. Episode conversations let you report a comment or block its author for the active profile; an immediate Undo action and a persistent blocked-profiles manager are available in Settings. Certain financial, entitlement, fraud-prevention, safety, or active fulfillment records may be retained where legally required.
8. Contact and updates
Use My FIVO → Settings and Privacy → Contact support for privacy requests and to follow our replies. We will post material changes here and update the effective date.
